Visa - Working Holiday

The "Working Holiday Programme" is based on bilateral agreements between the Federal Republic of Germany and other countries and aims at enabling young people to gain an insight into the culture and daily life of Germany, allowing them to travel to Germany for a stay of up to 12 months.
There are currently agreements for "Working Holiday Programmes" between Germany and Australia, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, Hong Kong, Uruguay, Chile, Argentina, Israel and Taiwan. You will find information about how to apply for a Working Holiday Visa here (Japanese only).
