Since October 1, 2015 the Legal and Consular Section of the Consulate General Osaka-Kobe is using an electronic appointment system for visa applicants.

With the new service, you are now requested to book a time slot to meet the visa officers at the Consualte General. Just click on the link below to make an appointment. If you would simply like to collect your visa, you do NOT need an appointment. But, through a smart phone you can't make a correct appointment. Please use a PC to make an appointment. Thank you.

Applicants without prior reservation cannot be admitted - except in case of emergency.

The appointment system does not support mobile devices. Please use a PC to access the system as mobile phones and other devices may not display the correct information.

After having placed an appointment through our electronic reservation system, you will receive an automated booking confirmation via e-mail.To ensure you get our e-mails, please add our address (….@diplo.de) to your safe/trusted senders list. Please also make sure that you e-mail client supports HTML messages. When filing your visa application at the Consulate General on the day of your appointment, please bring with you a print out of the confirmation e-mail, together with the required documents. Please make sure you have the complete set of documents.

You will not be permitted to bring large bags (suit cases, travel bags), weapons (knives, guns etc.) or electronic devices (cell phones, tablets etc.) into the Consulate.
In case you’re carrying any of the forbidden items with you, we kindly ask you to store them in lockers before your visit.
There are coin lockers on the same floor as the Consulate where you can store your belongings (fee required).
